Girls In-House Fall Rec

Cockeysville FC Soccer offers opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to learn and play soccer!

The season will begin in late August and will run until the end of October or early November.

U6 - Players born between 9/1/2020 - 12/31/2022

U8 - Players born between 9/1/2018 - 8/31/2020

U10 - Players born between 9/1/2016 - 8/31/2018

U12 - Players born between 9/1/2014 - 8/31/2016

U14 - Players born between 9/1/2012 - 8/31/2014

Teams within our U6 age group play in a 4v4 format with no goalkeepers. We use the 4v4 format to ensure that players get the maximum touches on the soccer ball and allow them to enjoy the game as they develop and grow their understanding of the sport.

At this age, focus is placed on development of skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Players develop scanning skills, and fundamental movement skills with and without the ball.

Practices are held one weeknight (chosen by the Head Coach), and games will take place on Saturdays between 9am and 1pm.

All practices and games are held at Mays Chapel ES, Warren Place Park, or other Cockeysville-area rec sites.

Teams within our U8 age group play in a 6v6 or 7v7 format (pending player availability) with goalkeepers. The goal at this age group is to ensure that players get the maximum touches on the soccer ball and enjoy the game as they develop and grow their understanding of the sport.

Focus is placed on development of skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Players develop scanning skills, and fundamental movement skills with and without the ball.

Practices are held one weeknight (chosen by the Head Coach), and games will take place on Saturdays between 9am and 1pm.

All practices and games will take place at either Mays Chapel ES, Warren ES, Warren Place Park, or other Cockeysville area rec sites.

Teams within our U10 age group play in a 7v7 format with goalkeepers. Players at this age are still developing and growing their understanding of the sport.

Our aim is to keep this league in-house, but there may be seasons where we have to partner with other area rec councils to provide sufficient playing opportunities for all teams.

All practices will take place at either Warren Elementary School or Cockeysville Middle School.

All games will take place at Warren ES, Cockeysville MS or other rec council sites.

Teams within our U14 age group play in a 11v11 format with goalkeepers. Players at this age are still developing and growing their understanding of the sport.

At this age, focus is placed on development of skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Players develop scanning skills, and fundamental movement skills with and without the ball.

Practices are held one weeknight (chosen by the Head Coach), and games will take place on Saturdays between 9am and 1pm.

This age group could play against other area rec councils such as Carroll Manor, LTSC or Towson.

All practices will take place at either Cockeysville Middle School or Dulaney Springs Park.

All games will take place at Cockeysville Middle School or other rec council sites.

Can I request a friend to be on the same team?

Yes, we encourage you to submit all requests at the time of registration. We will do our best to ensure that we honor all requests to the best of our abilities.

What if I can't practice on certain weeknights?

We ask that you put any requests for practices in the "Special requests" box. This will allow for us to work around schedules to ensure that players are placed on teams with minimal conflict.
